NEW COURSE: Following discussions with many runners who have previously run the course and with the local authorities & emergency services, although we already had a superb course it was evident it could be improved further. The decision was therefore made from an operational and enjoyment point of view to make some changes. This means the Bwlchtocyn section of the course which included the infamous Tocyn Brutal hill has now been removed and we’ve added in more fast sweeping country lanes around the Sarn Bach, Llanengan & Llangian areas. We’ll also be introducing some road closures to key sections of the course this year to ensure the Abersoch Half Marathon moves up in stature and appeal to all levels of runners.

THE VIEWS: This course is stunning, so while you’re running don’t forget to take in the scenery. Views of Cardigan Bay, St Tudwal’s Islands, Hell’s mouth & Bardsey Island, Abersoch itself & the golf course. This is one of the many reasons it is an exhilarating memorable race. Take it all in & Enjoy
